Sarah Goes To Fremont Avenue Cellars.

As the crow flies Wine World and Fremont Ave Cellars are within a mile of each other.  One, a goliath of a store offering the whos who of producers focusing mainly on the wines of the Pacific Northwest.  The mega-store has flat screen tvs, a tasting bar, and square footage to spare in their space at the intersection of 45th St and I-5.  Fremont cellars, tucked into a quiet corner space on Fremont Ave, is David in comparison. Except for a glass paneled storage closet at the back every bottle and box in the store is $25 or less.  Tastings are held from 12-6 Fridays and Saturdays.  This weekend there was a line up from Jean Luc Colombo with the star of the bunch was a light and delicate Viognier.
